How do i make a dreamweaver 8 form, to send straight to my gmail address when submit button is clicked?

i know it has something to do with php and with myphpadmin on my web hosting service but i have no idea what i am doing is there a site or video that demonstrates how to make every thing work. everything i try never works, when i have tried to attach a php field to the action on the form, when the submit button is clicked it will open the file as if u want to open save or cancel window. Someone plz help
